Los Angles, United States
Where are you from? Where do you live now?
I'm from Texas! I'm living in Los Angeles currently, I've been here a few months now.
Tell us about what you do.
I sort of do whatever I feel like! I love fashion and music and I strive to make an impact in those worlds and inspire as much as possible.
When did you start playing music?
Ever since Lindsey Lohan's band in Freaky Friday I've been inspired to rally up my own gang of babes! Depending on what I fancied at my local pawn shops, I'd semi-learn a bunch of random instruments, but what kick started my recent banger is my friend Danny. He plays bass in the band Together Pangea- they're freaking amazing- but anyway, I got a nice bright red bass from him! Then I went back home to Texas to visit my family and my friend Jakob from Night Beats- also a freaking amazing band- and he taught me how to read tabs and play the song Monkey Gone to Heaven by The Pixies, which is just as easy as it is good.
What music are you currently listening to?
I was raised on real old country/ rockabilly and my most recent kick was 80's/ Post-Punk, while these are all great on their own, Alan Vega made something better. He brought them together! There's an amazing CD called Jukebox Babe/ Collision Drive he did, that's my favorite record currently. Also I've been listening to Tiny Tim a lot, he's extremely inspiring.
What inspires you?
Is everything an okay answer?
Describe your approach to fashion.
Basically I try to keep it as theatrical as possible! Dramaticism is key in life for me. I wear a lot of costume pieces, fishnets and mini skirts, metallics are preferred! I'm nearly always in gogo boots. It's sort of a lifestyle. Dare I say I can nearly perfectly mimic Poison Ivy's style?
How do you go about collecting vintage clothing? What period most inspires you?
I buy whatever I fancy at the Goodwill Outlet stores! Fashion wise, I'd say I'm pretty 60's-future-esque. I go through phases though, it all depends on what I'm listening to at the moment, I suppose!
